Peter joined Griffin Legal after working in a legal research and policy administration role in a federal government agency. With a background in chemical and biological science, Peter developed an interest in law through his forensic studies and a subsequent passion for legal practice. While gaining experience in several areas within the firm, including Intellectual Property, Privacy, and Commercial law, Peter found his passion in Property and now actively leads the Property and Conveyancing sectors at Griffin Legal.
Peter has also actively practised in the Corporate Governance sector, providing advice to not-for-profit and charitable organisations and is the current Deputy Chair for Canberra Youth Theatre, a not-for-profit association focused on providing ACT youth with a way of expressing their artistic voice.
Outside of the office, Peter’s passions extend to the creative and performing arts and he is enthusiastic in his support of local artists and the local arts industry. On the weekend, Peter can usually be found catching up friends, taking in a play or performance with his fiancée, or appreciating a good wine.
