Griffin Legal was one of the first firms in Canberra to go (nearly) paperless, commencing in 2011. Being a (nearly) paperless firm means reducing our carbon footprint, resources for printing and maintaining digital filing systems. This environmental decision allowed us to achieve better practice efficiency and effective file management.

In 2013 Griffin Legal was registered as an accredited member of the ACT Government ACTSmart Business Recycling Program.

Workplace Health

Griffin Legal has committed to the ACT Government’s Healthier Work Program. We promote a healthy work life balance by healthy eating, physical activity and emotional wellbeing.

Our Team

Our Pricing

Most clients engage us on the basis of our hourly rates. Our hourly rates are competitive, and mean you only pay for the time spent on your matter.

Fixed Fees

Alternatively, a fixed fee model can be implemented for legal services where the scope of a matter is clearly defined. We appreciate that unanticipated services occasionally arise during the course of a matter, in these instances we issue Change Orders, incorporating a fixed fee.

Retainer Agreements
Need law services on an ongoing basis? Join our list of clients on a retainer arrangement. Clients pay a set amount each month for a certain number of hours. We are flexible and can design a package that suits you.

Charities and Community Organisations

Griffin Legal offers special rates for charities and community organisations. We recognise the benefit these organisations provide to the community, and this is one way we can help.

We understand what those early years are like because, like you, not so long ago we were a start-up. Cash flow is often an issue in the early stages of business, so we offer discounted rates in certain cases.
